Powerbrokers International Leadership Placements launched in January 2008. They are an eclectic range of three month international placements across the cultural and creative industries, established in partnership with dynamic, culturally diverse international organisations. CLP’s Alumni Festival took place on the 6-9 July @ the Wellcome Collection
CLP re:freshers featured a ‘pick and mix’ of drop-in seminars, guest speakers, practical insights, facilitated discussions, well-being sessions, networking & social opportunities, performances and an all-day café for meetings and informal get-togethers.
If you were unable attend some or all of re:freshers, you can access the highlights or revisit missed content through live blogs, tweets, interviews and photos. You can also continue discussions on issues raised and stay in touch with people you did - or perhaps didn't - meet at the event.

The Cultural Leadership Programme, in partnership with Creative Choices°, has published ‘A cultural leadership reader’, bringing together key articles and book reviews that focus on the importance of leadership for mid-career and senior professionals in the creative and cultural industries. Leaders gathered at the launch of the publication which took place at the Wellcome Collection on Friday 9 July as part of the CLP’s Alumni festival (CLP re:freshers).

Gained from two years of research into CLP supported networks, we are pleased to release the finalised CLP Leadership Networks Report. This report looks at the learning and legacy of networks including fourteen case studies from our Work-Based Learning programme and the common features of successful networks.

CLP get amplified
CLP are delighted to have commissioned Amplified Networks to enable leaders to share their experiences, mentor and support each other, stay in touch, and keep up-to-date with news and issues affecting leaders in the cultural and creative industries.

This spring, the Cultural Leadership Programme held a series of three debates addressing how the creative and cultural sector can continue to innovate and flourish in challenging times.
This thought-leading series not only addressed the challenges for leaders of Britain’s culture and creative industries, but demonstrated why the sector deserves to be at the heart of national debate about the political, environmental and economic issues of our time.

We are inviting established leaders (Director level figures and senior independent consultants) from across the UK to nominate women who have already made a noticeable impact within the sector, and have the potential to rise to the top, for inclusion on the Cultural Leadership Programme’s inaugural ‘Women to Watch’ list for 2010......
