International and intercultural exchanges provide ways to extend and enrich UK leadership practice. CLP embedded international practice in its programmes to ensure that current and future leaders were well equipped to nurture the vision, aptitude and skills to deliver excellence, experimentation and innovation within the wider national and international context.
CLP provision offered opportunities to develop international leadership competencies, ensuring accessibility to the global cultural leadership marketplace for employment and products and ensuring access to international thinking about leadership. In addition to offering practical development of international competencies through placements, networks and event, CLP worked in partnership with the British Council and Visiting Arts, sharing expertise and developing models to ensure that UK leaders and organisations were truly equipped for the 21st Century.
