Taking part in an action learning set can help you to:
- cope with a new job or role
- test out new ways of working
- face major challenges
- learn from, and be supported by, a skilled facilitator
- learn from, with and through other leaders
It can also:
- give you a structured networking opportunity
- give you the chance to learn by ‘doing’
The experience of having five or six people really listening, really giving you their full attention, highlighted the fact that we have so few opportunities in which people really engage with our issues, our concerns – it’s an incredibly powerful experience.
