CLP are pleased to announce that DaDa, led by Ruth Gould, will be working with us to deliver a comprehensive programme of leadership development days, peer mentoring & online networking for Deaf leaders in the Creative Cultural Sector.  ‘Hands On’ will take place between September 2010 – March 2012 (read on for further information).

Project Manager, Diane Morgan says: “ Ruth beat off stiff competition from a large number of organisations who tendered for the management of CLP’s Disability Leadership Development Programme.  We’re really excited to be working with DaDa, who will be focussing on supporting Deaf Leaders alongside a research project that will promote best practise through case studies of Disability Leadership development over the last ten years.  Ruth is also a CLP ‘Woman to Watch’, she has achieved a great deal as DaDa’s CEO and I know that she will inspire other  leaders invest in their future success.

Hands On: Deaf Cultural Leaders Project

We are inviting Deaf Creative & Cultural Leaders to apply for a unique and exciting opportunity. Working within Direct Communication principles, a cultural leadership project is being established to bring together 20 Deaf leaders for a programme of three leadership development days, peer mentoring and online networking over the next six months. The programme is most suited to mid-career leaders who have experience of leading others, formally or informally, and wish to develop their leadership potential further.
Learn, share and be inspired by top leaders and speakers from within the Deaf community both in the UK and abroad.
