AMONITE is a Dorset based programme of bespoke leadership development between partners West Mead Creative, Activate, Creative Dorset, Holton Lee, and the Dorset Strategic Partnership Culture Theme Group. This partnership, which spans performing arts, visual arts, heritage, museums, libraries and archives, arts development – has been awarded £45,000.
‘The New’, spanning emerging to senior leaders working within five partner organisations in the North West with particular focus on Manchester, have developed a programme that will interrogate, explore and develop leadership skills during a period of new leadership, transition, or capital development. The partnership, which includes Contact Theatre, Whitworth Art Gallery, Zion Arts Centre, The Chinese Arts Centre, and 20 Stories High have been awarded £80,000.
The ethos behind The Found Materials Network is to gather creative inspiration, processes, and methods from a diversity of sources, which is reflective of the diverse background of the participants. Beneficiaries at emerging and mid-career level from Tilt, Architecture doing Place, The Southbank Centre, and Urban words have been awarded £32,000.
The WILLOW programme has been devised to support organisations in Wales and England who seek to change the culture around gender equality, and to support women who have perceived or encountered barriers to getting past mid-level leadership roles. The partnership, which includes Swansea University/ Taliesin Arts Centre, Equal Measures, and Museums and Galleries of Wales, have been awarded £97,000.
‘North Eastern Cultural Leadership Development’ programme have been awarded £55,000 to provide a sustainable platform for leadership development. Spanning organisations of varying size and working in a variety of cultural, art form and practice areas and using a range of business models, this partnership will offer leadership support to integral regional organisations - including Newcastle Gateshead Initiative/Culture10, Tyneside Cinema, the Sage Gateshead, Northern Stage, Seven Stories, Theatre Royal Newcastle, Dance City, Tyne and Wear Museums, Hartlepool Museum, Woodhorn Museum, New Writing North, the Arc Stockton.
